The facial

Knew there was a reason I never bothered with all that skincare and makeup crap and left it to Aphrodite. It's a waste of time. From what I can tell it is anyway.
Last week when we went to the spa I went to the dermatologist since my skin is not exactly great. Was given a whole bunch of pills and junk to buy and told come next week for a facial before you start the other junk - which'll probably last about a week before I start forgetting to take them like usual.
So anyway, go off to the spa and for about 2 hrs have this woman poking at my face and afterwards it didn't look any different from what I could tell. Plus I have to go back in 20 days for another go. Oh goody. Can't wait. Really.
Note to self: leave all this crap to Aphrodite and people who actually give a damn how they look.

Back at work. So depressing

Am depressingly back at work now. Am on the last hour of a 9 hour day and my 6 hour E2 class so the students are looking pretty braindead. Get to give a quiz next hour which is brilliant for me because I get to sit there and do nothing for 40 minutes.
Got back from Cappadocia on Wednesday. Can highly recommend Cappadocia for anyone coming here. Did 2 full day tours, went for a wander around a couple of valleys, did a 2 hr horse riding tour - good but since I haven't ridden for over 10 years had a somewhat sore butt and legs afterwards - and a walking tour. Also spend lots of money and got the rest of my xmas presents for people which will be sent after next payday (in theory at least)
Have to agree with Kat about the whole WAYN thing. Get the same crap she does and it's a pain in the neck. They're at the top of the hit list now.
Off to sit and do nothing for 40 minutes while my class does a quiz. Fun. Well, for me at least, for some reason the students don't seem to agree. Funny that.
